I am learning as a new author it pays and it PAYS to enter awards.
There’s an entry fee for everything! But also a grand prize winner.
It does feel a little like the lotto. I even hear myself saying the same phrase.
“Well, someone’s got to win.”
I still believe that the work I published has merit. It’s splashy, but it’s good, and even better, it has a message. The Furious Others definitely has a shot.

Well, let’s hope! Fingers crossed :-) My dad used to say it doesn’t cost anything to dream.
Well…. it does cost an entry fee actually. LOL
Still, hope springs eternal. I promise to not be insufferable if I do win anything :)
